REEL FOR METALLIC WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a reel for a metallic wire withstand side pressure to be applied sufficiently even when winding a wire having reduced diameter under severe conditions by improving rigidity for strength and bending for expansion of a flange further and suppressing amount of expansion of the flange to amount of slight increase even if using it repeatedly to increase the number of times of use. SOLUTION: This reel A for the wire is provided with a mounting pipe 2 of a rotary shaft inside a winding drum 1 and the flanges 3, 3 made of steel plates at both ends. A hollow structure is formed by a main body flange 4 for fixing the flanges 3, 3 at both ends of the winding drum and a reinforcing flange 5 provided on an outer side of the main body flange 4 to cover its end face.
