DOCUMENT FEEDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document feeder capable of constituting a solid device for feeding a document from a feeding stacker to a delivery stacker by reducing its weight and preventing occurrence of play and positional deviation in a functional part for conveying a document by opening and closing operation of the device when opening a platen. SOLUTION: A configuration arranging the delivery stacker and the feeding stacker above the image reading platen such as a copying machine and a scanner device in this order and provided with a conveyance passage from the feeding stacker to the delivery stacker through the platen is provided with a lower part frame covering the platen and having a flat shape, a flange part at a peripheral side fringe, and a substantially box shape and an upper part frame having a flange part engaging with the flange part of the lower part frame at a side fringe and a substantially box shape. The lower part frame is provided with a document pressing member for covering the platen and a reading part conveyance guide constituting a part of the conveyance passage.
