Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase nozzle density by restraining crosstalk occurring between nozzles. SOLUTION: The liquid discharge device 20 discharges charged drops of a liquid to a base material K and has a plurality of nozzles 21 whose inside diameters are 100 μm or smaller, a liquid discharge head 26 to discharge liquid drops from the tips 21a of the respective nozzles 21, a liquid supply means 29 to supply the liquid into the nozzles 21 and discharge voltage application means 25 to apply a discharge voltage to the liquid in the nozzles 21. In the liquid discharge device 20, the nozzles 21 are made of a conductor or a semiconductor and the surfaces of the nozzles 21 are covered with an insulating film. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
