VACUUM CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner dispensing with switching operation of a rotating brush during cleaning. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner has a suction implement 9 detachably connected to an intake line communicating with an electric blower 2 for producing suction air; a motor 11 for driving the rotating brush 10 rotatably provided at the suction implement 9; an operating means 4 for setting the operation modes of the electric blower 2 and motor 1; and a stop switch SW1 for setting whether to rotate or stop the rotating brush 10 during operation in the set operating mode when the mode is a stop mode in which the electric blower 2 and motor 11 stop. At the stop of the electric blower 2 and motor 11, whether to rotate or stop the rotating brush 10 during operation in the operating mode is thus set beforehand by the stop switch SW1 to provide the convenient vacuum cleaner dispensing with on-off switching operation of the rotating brush 10 during normal cleaning operation.
