PAPER SHEET PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet processor that allows simplifying the configuration of a drive mechanism for stacking paper sheets. SOLUTION: The paper sheet processor, which conveys paper sheets one by one into a predetermined position while classifying them according to their kinds and stores each kind in either of a plurality of storages every time they are conveyed in, has a drive unit 40. The drive unit 40 has a mounting plate 51 on its top surface and a holding plate 54 on its bottom surface. A first parallel link mechanism comprising arms 44, 45 is attached to the mounting plate 51 and a second parallel link mechanism comprising arms 46, 47 is attached to the holding plate 54. The parallel link mechanisms raise and lower the mounting plate 51 and the holding plate 54 by rotating a cam 43 attached to the shaft 42a of a drive part 55 having a stacking motor 41 and a reduction gear 42, and causing the roller 43a of the cam 43 to abut against the bending pieces 44a, 46b of the arms 44, 46 in order during one rotation of the roller 43a, to deform the parallel link mechanisms.
