Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card for preventing a reinforcing board for protecting an IC chip from being brought into contact with a circuit pattern. SOLUTION: A notch 12 for preventing the reinforcing board 11 from being brought into contact with a circuit 6 is formed at a position just under the reinforcing board 11 opposite to the circuit pattern 6. In the manufacturing process of an IC card 1, even when the reinforcing board 11 is tilted due to the pressurization of the reinforcing board 11, or the generation of the hardening/contraction of sealing resin 10 when the reinforcing board 11 is mounted, the reinforcing board can be prevented from being brought into contact with the circuit pattern 6.
