CHECKPOINT RESTART JOB CHARGING METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize charging for a job according to consistent charging information since the start of the job to the end of the job even in the case of the re-execution of the job when any system failure is generated by a check point restart function. SOLUTION: This check point restart job charging method for executing the charging for a job to be re-executed from a check point when any system failure is generated by a check point restart function comprises a step for generating charging information from the system use resource quantity of the process, and for storing it in a charging information storage region each time a process in the job ends, a step for saving the charging information in the charging information storage region with the job configuration information for restarting the job to a saving file at the time of sampling the check points of the job, a step for restoring the charging information corresponding to the job configuration information of the job from the saving file to the charging information storage region at the time of restarting the job and a step for returning the charging information of the job in the charging information storage region when the job ends.
