Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming apparatus capable of reducing the image forming time and miniaturizing the size with a reduced height, while securing a distance required from secondary transfer to fixation. SOLUTION: Imaging means 8 of an imaging part are disposed at a predetermined interval in parallel, along the lower travelling course of an intermediate transfer belt 7 so that the levels of the height of the imaging means 8 are slanted downward as the lower travelling course of the intermediate transfer belt 7 advances toward the downstream side of the travelling direction.
