Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a weather strip having a coating film on its surface by uniformly applying an aqueous paint thereon. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the weather strip 28 having the coating film on its surface comprises an extruding process for producing an unvulcanized rubber formed body 14 by extruding an unvulcanized rubber composition from an extruder, a vulcanizing process for producing a vulcanized rubber formed body 18 by heating and vulcanizing the unvulcanized rubber formed body 14 in an oven kept at a temperature of 200 to 250°C, a temperature adjusting process for adjusting the temperature of the vulcanized rubber formed body 18 so as to be 90 to 100°C, a coating process for spraying the aqueous paint on the surface of the vulcanized rubber formed body 18 kept at the adjusted temperature, and a drying process for drying the surface-coated vulcanized rubber formed body 18.
