Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and the cost of a pulse power supply, and to continuously generate a positive polarity pulse and a negative polarity pulse. SOLUTION: The pulse power supply 10A comprises a DC power supply 12; a transformer 14 having a tap connecting point 20 at a primary winding 18; a first diode D1 connected in a forward direction between a positive terminal of the DC power supply 12 and the tap connecting point 20; a first semiconductor switch S1 that is connected between one terminal 26 of the primary winding 18 and a negative terminal of the DC power supply 12, and makes a current from the DC power supply 12 flow toward the one terminal 26 from the tap connecting point 20; a second semiconductor switch S2 that controls the on/off-operation of the first semiconductor switch S1; a third semiconductor switch S3 that is connected between the other terminal 28 of the primary winding 18 and the negative terminal of the DC power supply 12, and makes the current from the DC power supply 12 flow toward the other terminal 28 from the tap connecting point 20; and a fourth switch S4 that controls the on/off-operation of the third semiconductor switch S3.
