Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the speech quality of a cellular phone by widening the angle of directivity of an antenna device. SOLUTION: A first coil 1 is connected to a linear antenna element 2 having a second coil 3 at its tip and to a power supply part 8. Further, a planar antenna element 10 is provided in a direction orthogonal to the linear antenna element 2 so as to surround a multidirectional switch 6, the left function key 12 and the right function key 13 of a cellular phone. An extender 15 extending from the left function key 12 side is provided so as to overlap the coil 1 in order to electromagnetically couple the coil 1 with the planar antenna element 10. In transmission, a high-frequency power is branched by the first coil 1 into the two antenna elements 2, 10, and in reception, the reception radio waves of the two antenna elements 2, 10 are combined in the first coil 1.
