MICROWAVE OVEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oven of a composite heating system having a microwave leakage prevention means surely preventing leakage of a microwave generated by transmitting a through part of a heater or the heater. SOLUTION: The microwave oven of this invention is provided with a metal furnace shell 12, a heating chamber 16 divided with a heat insulating material 14 and housing an object to be heated, a microwave heating means 18 heating the object to be heated, and a heater heating means 20 controlling the temperature in a heating chamber.The microwave leakage prevention means 36 preventing leakage of the microwave from the circumference of the heater electrode penetrating a furnace shell of the heater heating means 20, comprises a first microwave leakage prevention mechanism 38 provided in a heater electrode 30, a casing 40 housing the first microwave leakage prevention mechanism, and a second microwave leakage prevention mechanism 44 provided in a conductor 42 penetrating the casing 40 and with one end connected with the heater electrode and the other end connected with a heater power supply.
