SERIAL INTERFACE CIRCUIT, SEMICONDUCTOR INTEGRATED CIRCUIT AND DATA TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a serial interface circuit, a semiconductor integrated circuit and a data transmission system which can perform simultaneously writing of data in a plurality of semiconductor integrated circuits. SOLUTION: The data transmission system uses an ASIC having a switchable serial interface circuit, and selects the same interface system altogether. In the data transmission system, a data determining unit writes the data in a device to be written simultaneously based on a data input value by validating the serial interface unit instructed to be validated by a register without depending upon the determination result of a chip select determining unit when the address data value included in the serial input data coincides with the value for a predetermined simultaneously writing mode.
