Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flow characteristic of a fuel pump. SOLUTION: This fuel pump 10 includes: a substantially disc-like impeller 20; and a casing rotatably storing the impeller 20. recessed part groups 20a, 21a repeated in the circumferential direction are formed on both of the surface and back of the impeller 20. The casing inner surface on the fuel suction surface side of the impeller 20 is provided with a first groove 30 formed extending from the upstream end to the downstream end in an area opposite to the recessed part group 21a of the impeller 20. The casing inner surface on the fuel discharge surface side of the impeller 20 is provided with a second groove 24 formed extending from the upstream end to the downstream end in an area opposite to the recessed part group 20a of the impeller 20. The depth of the recessed part group 21a formed on the fuel suction surface side of the impeller 20 is larger than that of the recessed part group 20a formed on the fuel discharge surface side of the impeller 20.
