SOLUTION: The high toughness Al alloy casting has a composition containing, by mass, 2 to 4% Si, 0.2 to 0.5% Mg, 0.4 to 0.8% Cu and 0.05 to 0.3% Ni, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities, and has a tensile strength of ≥300 MPa, a 0.2% proof stress of ≥210 MPa and an elongation of ≥10%.
