SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises (A) 10-90 pts. wt. α,β-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile conjugated diene copolymer and (B) 90-10 pts. wt. hydroxyl group-modified ethylene-α-olefin copolymer obtained by modifying an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer with a hydroperoxy group-containing peroxide. The rubber composition comprises (A) 10-90 pts. wt. α,β-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile conjugated diene copolymer, (B) 2-88 pts. wt. hydroxyl group-modified ethylene-α-olefin copolymer obtained by modifying an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer with a hydroperoxy group-containing peroxide, and (C) 2-88 pts. wt. ethylene-α-olefin copolymer.
