PLATEN,RECORDER WITH PLATEN, AND LIQUID INJECTION APPARATUS WITH PLATEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platen which prevents a recording medium from floating up and enables high quality four side borderless recording, and also to provide a recorder and a liquid injection apparatus each provided with the platen. SOLUTION: The platen 163 is characterized in that a horizontal groove 165a for discarding ink droplets is formed on an upstream side in recording paper 300 feed direction, and that a plurality of suction holes 167 for suppressing floating of recording paper 300 is provided on a downstream side. Hence, ink droplets discarded in a four side borderless recording of the recording paper 300 are stored in the horizontal groove 165a, and further, the recording paper 300 is prevented from floating by means of the plurality of suction holes 167 provided on the downstream side in the feed direction, so that a high quality recording is obtained by preventing uneven recording or dirt from being generated even when four side borderless printing is made on the recording paper 300.
