Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article that is lightweight and that has a finishing extremely close to tactile feeling, appearance and texture. SOLUTION: The design coated article is obtained by applying a design coating composition comprised of 10-60 wt% of a silicone resin particle (a) of which the hardness of the average particle size of 1.5-12μm is F or more of pencil hardness, 90-40 wt% of a binder (b) of which the hardness of a coating film of the binder alone is F or more of pencil hardness and a constitution pigment (a') for matte finishing added if needed to a plastic substrate which is transparent or translucent and may be colored, wherein the total of the silicone resin particle (a) and the binder (b) is 100 wt%.
