Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical handpiece having one lumen used for sucking action, and having the other lumen used for injecting surgical fluid heated for liquefying a crystalline lens of a cataract. SOLUTION: The surgical handpiece 10 has at least two lumens 18 and 30 installed in a handpiece body. At least the first lumen is used for suction, and at least the second lumen 30 is used for injecting the surgical fluid heated for liquefying the crystalline lens of the cataract. A part of the second lumen is expanded so as to form a pumping chamber 42. The pumping chamber is operated by boiling a small volume of the surgical fluid. When the fluid boils, the fluid quickly expands, and the fluid of the pumping chamber is pushed out downstream from the second lumen.
