Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunable wavelength mirror that selectively and randomly obtains a desired wavelength of light from an incident radiation in a wide wavelength band and a tunable laser that can be used for WDM communication. SOLUTION: Voltage is applied to a liquid layer 9 between high reflectance mirrors 5 and 6 via a set of transference electrodes 3 and 4 to control a refractive index. In addition, a liquid etalon 20 passing light with a particular wavelength and a third high reflectance mirror 10 are provided, the reflecting surface of the third high reflectance mirror 10 is slanted for each reflecting surface of a pair of high reflectance mirrors 5 and 6 and at least one of the three mirrors 5, 6 and 10 has a higher refractive index in a particular wavelength band among incident radiation wavelength bands.
