WAVEGUIDE SYSTEM OF ELECTRODELESS LIGHTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact waveguide system of an electrodeless lighting apparatus suitable for securing resonance safety. SOLUTION: The waveguide system of an electrodeless lighting apparatus comprises a waveguide in which a passage wherein microwave energy passes through is formed, an antenna as a microwave generating means is inserted and fixed at one side, and has a slot so that the microwave energy outputted from the antenna may be supplied to a resonator 104 wherein an electric bulb is located, a first stub which is installed so as to protrude from one side inside the waveguide and to be located near the slot for the purpose of impedance matching with the antenna and synchronization with an output frequency of the antenna, and a second stub which is installed together with the first stub so as to protrude from the other side inside the waveguide at a prescribed interval from the first stub, in order to expand the band width so as to be synchronized with the output frequency of the antenna, which changes according to fluctuations of the impedance of the antenna.
