Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter for reducing double images and a plasma display panel adopting the optical filter. SOLUTION: The optical filter comprises a transparent base material, a selective absorption layer which is laminated on one surface of the transparent base material, an antireflection layer which is laminated on an upper surface of the selective absorption layer, an electromagnetic wave shielding layer which is laminated on another surface of the transparent base material, and a double image reducing layer which is laminated on an upper surface of the electromagnetic wave shielding layer. The plasma display panel adopting the optical filter is also provided. Thereby not only external reflection but also double image are reduced to improve visual appreciation and image quality.
