Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic diagnosing and measuring apparatus and its method, which nondestructively measure a position of a reinforcing steel in a reinforced concrete construction object. SOLUTION: A coil 12 is arranged on a surface of a concrete 11b covering the reinforcing steel 11a, and a current pulse is applied on the coil 12 to generate a magnetic pulse, and eddy current is induced in the reinforcing steel 11a by the magnetic pulse, and the reinforcing steel 11a is vibrated by a mutual interaction force of the eddy current and the magnetic pulse, whereby sounds are generated. Propagation delay time values of the sounds are measured respectively by a plurality of sound transducers 14a, 14b and 14c which are arranged on the surface of the concrete 11b, and the position of the reinforcing steel 11a is determined from these propagation delay time values.
