METHOD OF PRODUCING SUPERCONDUCTING WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a superconducting wire by which a superconducting wire having a high-performance and performance uniformity can be obtained. SOLUTION: A method of producing a superconducting wire comprising a step (S6) of drawing a wire 1a in the form of a material powder 2a of a superconductor coated with a metal, a primary rolling step (S8) of rolling a multiconductor wire 1c following the wire drawing step (S6), and a primary sintering step (S10) of sintering the multiconductor wire 1 following the primary rolling step (S8). At least either holding time between the wire drawing step (S6) and the primary rolling step (S8) or between the primary rolling step (S8) and the primary sintering system (S10) is carried out within seven days.
