INPUT CONTROL METHOD AND INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input control method and an information processing device capable of quickly determining whether a key is pressed shortly when the key is pressed and of reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: After pressing of a key is started, it is determined whether pressing of the key is continued or not (step S12g) by a short time interval (step S12c) for quickly determining whether the key is pressed shortly or not (step S12f and step S12h). After a lapse of the predetermined time (step S12g:YES), it is determined whether pressing of the key is continued or not (step S12m) by a long time interval (step S12j) for determining whether pressing of the key is continued for a long time or not (step S12k).
