Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens unit whose assembly work is facilitated and in which accurately positioned lens arrangement is obtained, and provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The set of optical lenses 1 is constituted by assembling transparent resin lenses 11, 12 and 13 in a lens barrel 14, and a flange part 14a and a level difference part 14b functioning as a reference surface for positioning and fixing the transparent resin lenses 11, 12 and 13 in an axial direction are formed on the lens barrel 14. Edge parts 11b, 12b and 13b functioning as a fixed surface coming into contact with the reference surface are formed on the transparent resin lenses 11, 12 and 13, and both sides of the flange part 14a and the edge parts 11b and 12b, and the level difference part 14b and the edge part 13b are welded respectively.
