Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology easily applicable to existing facilities for effectively preventing the leakage of lubricating oil from a bearing device. SOLUTION: A rotating vertical shaft is supported by bearings 30, 31 and lubricating oil is circulated and supplied into the bearings. In this case, a labyrinth seal is formed in a double structure by a first labyrinth ring portion 40 fixed to the rotating vertical shaft 8 on the lower sides of the bearings 30, 31 and a second labyrinth ring portion 60 fixed to a housing 50. The lubricating oil leaking via the first stage labyrinth seal is shielded by the second stage labyrinth seal, and the leaking oil is drained from a space S between the first and second stage labyrinth seals via a drain path 63 formed in the second labyrinth ring portion 60 to the outside of the device.
