Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping structure of a reinforced concrete construction capable of increasing damping efficiency of a damper installed on the reinforced concrete construction and improving earthquake resisting efficiency of the reinforced concrete construction. SOLUTION: A moment resisting frame viaduct 1 is constituted of a pier 2 erected on a bearing pile 3, a main girder 4 erected between the piers 2 and 2 in the direction of the bridge axis and a cross girder 5 erected between the piers 2 and 2 in the direction at right angles to the bridge axis and a floor slab 6 erected on the main girder 4 and the cross girder 5 as constituent members. The damper 10 is installed on the moment resisting frame viaduct 1, and it is constituted of a plate-like bearing member 12 projected downward by fixing the basic end section to the main girder 4 and a body member 11 alternately laminating a high damping rubber and a steel plate intervened between the front end section of the bearing member 12 and the upper part 2a side of the pier 2. At the inside of the pier 2, the successively arranged first main bar 7 and second main bar 8 are connected to each other through a sleeve 9 in the upper part 2a of the pier 2 having big bending moment.
