DIGESTION GAS POWER GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a digestion gas power generator which can be stably operated because siloxanes, etc., contained in a digestion gas obtained by methane fermentation can be inexpensively and effectively removed. SOLUTION: The digestion gas obtained by methane fermentation in a septic tank 1 is introduced into a part at least 200 mm deep from the surface of the held water in a digestion gas pretreatment apparatus 8 and is allowed to bubble to dissolve its water-soluble component in the held water. Meanwhile, the digestion gas after the bubbling is passed through the gas passing space of the apparatus 8 at a flow rate as low as 0.1 m/sec or smaller to remove water-insoluble misty foreign matter therefrom. The thus purified digestion gas is sent to a desulfurization tower 2, desulfurized there, stored in a gas holder 3, and fed as a fuel gas into a digestion gas power generator such as a fuel battery power generator 4.
