Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for preparing TBA (t-butanol) from an isobutene-containing hydrocarbon mixture. SOLUTION: The process for preparing TBA comprises reacting the isobutene-containing hydrocarbon mixture with water in a reactor cascade using a solid acidic catalyst. In the process, at least one reactor is fed with two different isobutene-containing hydrocarbon mixtures. One of the mixtures herein has a higher TBA content and a higher moisture content than those of the other mixture.
