FISH FILLET PICKING UTENSIL AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implement and a method for shaving off the skin parts of both half body parts of a fish, and after that, surely dressing the respective half body parts, and completely removing countless inner bones exposed to the backbone part in the half body part. SOLUTION: In this utensil, nipping cutting edge parts 4, 4 meshing with each other are provided on the inner edge parts of the respective half utensil parts 2, 2 of a utensil head body 3 integrated with an opening and closing grip part 1, dressing blade parts 5, 5 are provided on the outer edge parts of the respective half utensil parts, and the nipping cutting edge parts are formed as projecting parts 6, 6 projecting outward from the inner edge part surfaces of the respective utensil half parts. According to this method, the skin of the neck part of the fish is picked up by the nipping cutting edge parts of the respective utensil half parts of the utensil head body integrated with the grip part, and in this state, the cutting edge parts are moved to the abdomen part and the trail part to shave off the skin. After that, the dressing blade part of one utensil half part of the utensil head body is inserted in the neck part, the dressing blade part is moved along the backbone part to be torn apart to fillet the half body part, and the inner bones in the backbone side surface of the filleted half body part are removed by the nipping cutting edge parts.
