PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which planted grain culms collide with the lower end of a chain case constituting a raising apparatus installed in a pretreating part of a combine harvester and the grain culms are pushed down to the front and irregularity of conveying posture of grain culms occurs. SOLUTION: In this combine harvester in which raising apparatuses 24, 24 for raising planted grain culms are installed behind a plurality of grass-dividing bodies 21, 21, the lower sides of the opposite raising apparatuses 24, 24 are expanded in a direction mutually separated and the lower ends of the raising apparatuses 24, 24 are constituted so as to enter the interior of the grass-dividing bodies 21 when the machine body is viewed from the front.
