INFORMATION REGENERATOR AND RECORD REGENERATOR FOR MOVING OBJECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle multimedia system capable of regenerating navigation and an optical disc such as a video CD, using a changer type CD driver. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle multimedia system is provided with a means for regenerating plural kinds and plural sheets of recording media containing at least either of image information or voice information, a means for measuring a position of a moving object when map information for guiding an operation of the moving object is recorded in at least one out of the plural kinds of recording media, a means for displaying the map information to display the position of the moving object measured by the measuring means, on a map, a means for displaying the image information of other recording media recorded with information other than the map information, and a means for processing the voice information recorded in the other recording media to be output as a voice signal. The prescribed recording medium is regenerated, and guide information related to the information displayed by the map displaying means is regenerated from the recording media to be displayed on an image or to be voice-output.
