SURVEY MACHINE HAVING COMMUNICATION MEANS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and easily store a program necessary for survey in a plurality of survey machines and automatically set each survey machine. SOLUTION: The survey machine (1) having a communication means (10) for communicating with external apparatuses (4) has a survey machine setting means which fetches a program and setting data sent from the external apparatuses via the communication means and sets the survey machine according to the program and the setting data. The survey machine also has an information transmission means for transmitting all or a part of the stored program and setting data to other survey machines (2) via the communication means, and a setting confirmation means which fetches the program and the setting data sent from other survey machines and confirms whether or not other survey machines are correctly set.
