ANALYSIS METHOD FOR NETWORK FAILURE INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate cause analysis/restoration work for network connection failures, when a failure occurs in a network in a household appliance terminal such as a network-responding digital TV. SOLUTION: Paying attention to the feature of a network-responding digital TV having a TV screen whose visibility by users is high; information on troubles of a customer premise network collected by the network-responding digital TV, and information on troubles of a broadband line etc. acquired from a broadband rooter via a network are analyzed synthetically on the TV screen, and information presumed as causes for the network troubles are displayed on the TV screen. A synthetic network trouble information can be obtained by just confirming the screen of the digital TV, and individual examinations of network apparatuses become unnecessary.
