BEAM DISTRIBUTION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MEDICAL PARTICLE ACCELERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam distribution device and method for a medical particle accelerator which is directly accessible from one control room of a treatment room in radiation operating to suspend the particle beam within several microseconds. SOLUTION: The beam distribution device 21 manages various treatment rooms, a plurality of control rooms for quality assurance rooms 8 to 12 and the control room for the particle accelerator, and adjusts the allotment of the beam control right. The beam distribution device 21 is equipped with an adjusting unit 26 equipped with a switching logic 27 and a monitoring unit 28, and with a sequence control 29. The latter is equipped with a flow-out suspension system 31 via a signal line 30 to suspend ion beam radiation within several microseconds.
