ACTUATOR LATCH DEVICE OF DISK DRIVE, LATCH ASSEMBLY, HARD DISK DRIVE AND METHOD FOR LOCKING AND UNLOCKING SWING ARM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply configured actuator latch device of a disk drive for improving locking stability and reliability of an actuator. SOLUTION: This actuator latch device of a disk drive is provided with a notch part 210 provided at one end part of the swing arm 132, a latch lever 220 rotatably mounted on a base member and provided with a hook 222 for interfering with the notch part 210 at the time of locking the actuator, a first latch pin 223 for applying torque in a first direction to the latch lever 220 by the magnetic force of a magnet 137, a second latch pin 224 extending from the latch lever 220, an attracting part 230 protruded from an edge of a yoke and magnetized by the magnet 137 to attract the second latch pin 224 at the time of locking the actuator, and a solenoid coil 232 wound around the attracting part 230 to offset a of the attracting part by the application of a power supply at the time of unlocking the actuator.
