WATER STOP DEVICE IN CASE OF EMERGENCY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water stop device in case of emergency which does not require time and labor for bringing a cut off plate from other places in case of urgency or emergency such as flooding and smoothly stops water from entering an entrance of an underground structure and further is remotely controlled. SOLUTION: Opposite upright grooves 4 are formed in both side walls 3, 3 of a floor surface 2 of an entrance 1. Protruded guide rollers 6 at both side parts 5' on an upper end of the cut off plate 5 are ascendably/descendably fitted in the guide grooves 4. Cut off surfaces 7, 7 in longitudinal direction of the cut off plate 5 are protruded in opposing directions along the guide grooves 4. The cut off plate 5 is raised in contact with the cut off surfaces 7, 7 in longitudinal direction, and is formed to be laid down in a low floor part 8 which is recessed on the outside of the cut off surfaces 7, 7.
