NON-NEEDLE FELT, OR THE LIKE, IN WHICH RELEASE-PREVENTING PROCESSING IS APPLIED TO END PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric in which needle-inspecting operation, and the like, is made unnecessary by producing it without using any needle and a problem in which a water-blocking sheet 3 is broken by a needle left in the interior when the nonwoven fabric is used as a protective mat 2 is solved, and to provide a waste-treating site 1 not causing outflow of sewage containing a harmful substance by using the protective mat 2, and to provide a non-needle felt 9, or the like, free from the problem in which the end is readily releasable between layers. SOLUTION: The present invention provides a non-needle felt 9 obtained by heating and compressing layers of a fiber obtained by mixing a binder into a raw material mainly composed of a polyester to produce the non-needle felt 9 and applying release-preventing processing to the end after cutting the non-needle felt 9 or applying release-preventing processing to a part to become the end before cutting the non-needle felt 9, an apparatus 10 for producing the non-needle felt 9 and a waste-treating site 1 in which the non-needle felt 9 is used as the protective mat 2.
