LOST WAX CASTING METHOD USING CONTACT LAYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a multi-layer ceramic shell mold with which in a lost wax casting method, the occurrence of surface defect on a casting product is prevented. SOLUTION: The multi-layer ceramic shell mold which contains a wax master pattern for part to be produced or the other similar material and at least one contact layer as the other material is manufactured by passing through the following processes, that is; a process for forming the contact layer by dipping the master pattern into a first slip containing ceramic particles and a binder formed with mullite particles; a process for depositing sand particles onto the above contact layer; and a process for drying the above contact layer.
