NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery obtaining a high output characteristic by reducing inner resistance in a battery and to achieve further improvement in the battery characteristic. SOLUTION: The nonaqueous secondary battery is provided with a group of electrode plates winding around a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate on a sheet through a separator, electrolyte and a battery case. It is characteristic that two or more electrode plate groups are laminated and contained in the battery case, each electrode group is connected in parallel, a spacer is provided between adjacent plate groups and (vertical section area going through an axial core of area/electrode plate group of the spacer) is ≥0.38.
