Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus protecting an element or preventing malfunctions, by exposing or not exposing the necessary element, according to the shape (or form) of the imaging apparatus, such as a digital camera for which simple operation is desired. SOLUTION: The element to be used, that is, an element group for photography including a photographic lens 11 or an element group for non-photographing action, including a receptacle 51 for a connector, is covered by a front cover 20 to be exposed according to the position of the front cover 20 to a digital camera main body 10.
