LID MATERIAL FOR RECESS-PART ARRAY SUBSTRATE, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND LIDDED RECESS-PART ARRAY SUBSTRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid material for a recess-part array substrate and a lidded recess-part array substrate for simultaneously closing a plurality of recess-part openings in the array substrate without performing delicate position adjustment for holding liquid specimens such as a living body-related substance and also having resistance to vibration. SOLUTION: Projection parts 30 are arranged/formed on a surface of a tabular member 10 so as to agree with the positions of recess parts 40 in the recess-part array substrate 100. Co-planar flat surfaces 32 exist between these adjoining projection parts. Each projection part is shaped so as to have a portion in which the shape of its cross section parallel to the flat surfaces tapers off its area from the flat surface toward a top part 34 while maintaining a similar figure to the shape of the recess-part openings, and a cross section having a shape congruent to the shape of the recess-part openings exists in this portion.
