PHOTOPOLYMERIZABLE ACRYLIC ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING ADHESIVE SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply producing an adhesive sheet having an optically polymerizable layer with good adhesive performance, high molecular weight and high degree of polymerization by shortening time for UV irradiation, drying and the like. SOLUTION: The photopolymerizable acrylic adhesive composition comprises an acrylic monomer comprising an alkyl (meth)acrylate as a main ingredient, an optical initiator, a metal soap and an α-acyllactone and is polymerizable by UV lights. The method for producing the adhesive sheet is to apply the adhesive composition onto a substrate, polymerize the compound by irradiating UV lights until the residual monomer content becomes ≤10 wt.% and hold the same for ≥1 day at room temperature with insulating air for the polymerization reaction to slowly proceed.
