Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer to generate a notifying sound without providing a buzzer so as to contribute to cost reduction. SOLUTION: A buzzer table 3b is provided in a program ROM 3 connected to a CPU 1. Driving time t and a driving cycle T which drive a print head 6 are stored in the table, and drive a specific pin in the print head 6 according to the driving time t and the driving cycle T when they receive a buzzer actuating command.
