UV CURING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR UV-CURABLE COATING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent thermal deformation without applying excessive heat to the molded article, to uniformly cure a UV-curable coating even in the molded article of a complex shape, to apply UV to a dark area to cure it and to further realize space-saving and cost reduction of a device. SOLUTION: The UV-curable coating of the molded article is uniformly irradiated with UV from a UV lamp by moving the molded article A comprising a polymer material deposited with the UV-curable coating and also moving the UV lamp 62. A UV curing device 50 used for the curing is provided with a UV curing tank 55; molded article movement devices 72, 73, 74 for moving the molded article A in the UV curing tank; the UV lamp 62; and a lamp movement device 63. A first floor part of a box body 51 with two-floor structure is made to the UV curing tank 55 and an inert gas feed device 56 for purging the inside of the UV curing tank with carbon dioxide is provided.
