Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electronic component capable of sufficiently improving, in particular, the degree of cure of a conductive coating film even at a low baking temperature and for a short baking time as compared with a conventional one, and of extending a sliding life as compared with a conventional one; and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A binder resin of the conductive coating film is a thermosetting resin obtained by containing resorcinol and phenol, and the ratio of the number of nucleus bodies of resorcinol to that of phenol is adjusted in the range of 2:8-5:5. The thermosetting resin obtained by containing resorcinol and phenol has high reactivity as compared with a conventional resol type phenol resin, and can sufficiently generate a curing reaction even at a low baking temperature or for a short baking time as compared with a conventional one. As a result, a hard binder resin can be obtained even at a low baking temperature or for a short baking time as compared with a conventional one, and a sliding life can dramatically be improved as compared with a conventional one.
