OPTICAL FIBER CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable which facilitates the taking-out of a single core optical fiber when taking out the single core optical fiber by cutting the sheath. SOLUTION: Arbitrary one single core optical fiber which constitutes an optical fiber unit and adjacent two single core optical fibers are arranged in parallel in the close state such that the respective single core optical fibers constitute equilateral triangle. The optical fiber unit comprises the single core optical fiber which adjoins two single core optical fibers and the single core optical fiber which adjoins three or more single core optical fibers. Therein, the shortest distance from the single core optical fiber adjoining the two single core optical fibers to the sheath surface is equal to or is shorter than the shortest distance from the single core optical fiber adjoining three or more single core optical fibers to the sheath surface.
