Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor belt driving device for an electrophotographic apparatus capable of obtaining an image of high image quality by preventing the damage of a photoreceptor belt at the storage time before the use of the photoreceptor belt device for the electrophotographic apparatus, and also, at the time of replacement the photoreceptor belt device. SOLUTION: The photoreceptor belt driving device for the electrophotographic apparatus is provided with a contact type electrifying device for electrifying the photoreceptor surface to a prescribed potential and a light shielding means for protecting the photoreceptor belt from external light at the storage time and the replacement time, and the light shielding means is sandwiched between the contact type electrifying device and the photoreceptor belt until the photoreceptor belt driving apparatus is used.
