SOLUTION: This adapter device for providing on a leg body 2, the laser marking device 1 for setting a horizontal line or a vertical line on an object such as a wall or a pillar by laser irradiation has a constitution wherein a substrate 3 mounted on the leg body 2 is provided with a leg placing part 5 for placing a leg part 4 of the laser marking device 1 and has a holder part 6 for holding the leg part 4 of the laser marking device 1 placed on the leg placing part 5, and the holder part 6 can operate height adjusting mechanisms 7 provided respectively on the leg part 4 of the laser marking device 1 in the state of holding the leg part 4 of the laser marking device 1 to fix the laser marking device 1.
